Correspondence
Do you want to send a letter or e-mail and do you need help with the translation? We can do this together so that you can learn from it right away. Or perhaps you are looking for a different job, and you can use some support with writing a letter of application and updating your resume. Did you receive a letter from, for example, de Belastingdienst, but you’re having troubles understanding it? Send your request for help and you will receive a response within 24 hours.
Advice
Can you use advice about arranging matters such as your health insurance?
Or do you have questions about the Tax Authorities and are you unable to answer them?
If you are not speaking Dutch enough, things like this can seem overwhelming. Maybe you don't have that many contacts with Dutch people yet, but mainly acquaintances of your own nationality. It often happens that, (allthough well-intended), wrong information is exchanged among each other.

About Ilse
Polish / Ukrainian blood with a touch of Dutch
I was born and raised in the Netherlands, living in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Because of my roots, I have a great connection with the Eastern Block countries. I love the culture. During the many visits to family, I learned the basics of the Polish language as a child. During conversations with me you will notice that I am an "easy going person" and love to laugh. This will make it easier to start speaking in the Dutch language, if you have some axiety. Even when you only know a few words.
And that’s my goal.
I want to help you to learn the basics of the Dutch language, by feeling. Not too many textbooks. Not too many rules. Let's start with the basics. The rest will follow later. Put your fear aside. Making mistakes is never a bad thing! But keep talking.
I believe in linking words and sentences to personal memories. I believe in the rules of grammar - but in the long term! When you are immediately flooded with the conjugations of verbs and exceptions, you will get overwhelmed.
You have to get a connection with the language.
That is the first step.
